Conor Murray and Robbie Henshaw lead Irish rugby contingent in Barbados for luxury holiday
Some of Irish rugby's best known faces are soaking up the sun on a luxury holiday to Barbados.
Munster star Conor Murray has hit the beach alongside Ireland teammate Dave Kearney for a 10-day stay at the five star Sandy Lane resort - a gift given to them by owner J.P. McManus for their participation in Ireland's World Cup campaign.
Leinster's Jordi Murphy has been making the most of the Caribbean sunshine with his long-term girlfriend Laura Finnegan, while Robbie Henshaw and his other half of three years Sophie Marron, who recently graduated from university, flew to Los Angeles after their time at the exclusive hotel.
Although they're currently in sunny California for the second leg of their extended holiday, the couple were clearly gutted to be leaving the confines of the Caribbean, with Robbie captioning a picture: "Last night in paradise."
Sandy Lane plays home to the rich and famous, including Simon Cowell, Topshop boss Sir Philip Green, Tiger Woods, Jamie and Louise Redknapp and more.
And the athletes aren't the only Irish faces spotted soaking up the sun on the hotel's exclusive beach - former Leinster player Ian Madigan flew there with girlfriend Anna Kirwan, Rory McIlroy and fiancée Erica Stoll and AP McCoy and wife Chanelle were all pictured there in April.
Shay Given's ex-wife Jane, Luke Fitzgerald, Rob Kearney and girlfriend Jess Redden and Peter Stringer and wife Debbie O'Leary round out the stars who all visited there in 2016.
