Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's husband has launched a thinly-veiled dig at his pop star wife online.
There are rumours that the 18-month marriage between former Girls Aloud star Cheryl (32) and her husband Jean Fernandez-Versini is in crisis.
The latest clue comes as Jean lashed out after the X Factor judge shared a photo of herself smiling on Instagram, captioned by an emoji of a smiling face.
In an apparent response to the post, the restaurateur shared his own message that read: "Mean people don't bother me a bit. Mean people who disguise themselves as nice bother me a whole lot."
Jean-Bernard uploaded the cryptic quote on his own Instagram account which has since been made private.
Cheryl wed the Frenchman following a three month courtship in 2013, but sources say their union is not going as smoothly as they hoped.
It’s been months since the celebrity pair were spotted together and were last pictured at Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s 40th birthday party in October.
Last month her husband posted another cryptic clue that their marriage was in trouble on Instagram by saying: “When writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen. I’m sorry if you don’t like my honesty but to be fair I don’t like your lies.”
