Cheryl and Liam Payne 'moving both of their mums in' when they welcome first child
As Cheryl and Liam Payne are making sure all bases are covered when they welcome their first child together in a matter of weeks.
The former X Factor judge (23) and One Direction singer (23) are expecting the new arrival this spring and have invited both Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan and Liam's mum Karen to move in with them.
Payne owns a six-bedroom €5m home in Surrey which Cheryl moved into last year and the house is about to get a lot busier over the coming months.
And the Girls Aloud singer is famously close with her mother, who lived with her during her first marriage to footballer Ashley Cole from 2006 to 2010.
"Joan and Karen are keen to lend a helping hand in the important but stressful weeks after the baby arrives," a source told Closer magazine.
"Also, Karen is a nursery nurse, so she has lots of hands-on experience with babies.
"Both mothers are excited but have put a time limit on their stay as they know it’s important for Cheryl and Liam to have their space – and quality time as a new family."
At least Liam's house isn't short of space - the palatial property boasts a tennis court, home cinema, swimming pool, ballet studio and 700-bottle wine store.
It is the first child for both, although neither has publicly commented on the pregnancy.
