Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller taken to hospital for 'evaluation' after going missing with their children
Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller has been taken to hospital for an "evaluation" after she went missing with their two children on Wednesday.
Mueller reportedly went missing with her two children with Sheen, seven-year-old twins Max and Bob, on Wednesday morning, before being located later in the day.
Following the incident, Mueller (39) has been hospitalized for an evalution.
A statement from the Utah Department of Public Safety reads:
"On the morning of November 16, dispatchers with the Utah Department of Public Safety received a welfare check call from a woman claiming to be the mother of Brooke Mueller."
"Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol responded to the welfare check call and located Mueller, her two children and a nanny on Interstate 15 near Nephi, Utah. The children are safe and will be released to family. Mueller was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. The State Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the incident. We do not have any more information to release at this time."
Sheen, who was married to Mueller from 2008 to 2010, told TMZ: "I'm just trying to get my kids home safe. I have no other details that relate to the ongoing event."
Mueller is said to have moved to Utah earlier this year to seek a rehabilitation programme and has been staying there as an outpatient since.
She has previously been arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession.
