'Gentle and beautiful' are the words used by a family friend to describe Irish make-up artist Cathriona White who tragically passed away two days ago.
A local councillor told independent.ie that the town of Cappawhite was left "reeling in shock" at the news that the beautiful 30-year-old was found dead at her home in LA.
"To be honest, it's a bit of a surreal experience," she said.
"She was such a quiet girl; very pretty; when she studied hair and beauty, she excelled in her field. Quiet, gentle and beautiful - that's how I would describe Cathriona."
Two friends called to Cathriona's home on Monday and called emergency services when they found her body but she was declared dead at the scene.
Lisa is a nurse in Cappawhite and has recently married her husband John. A "superb" GAA footballer, Lisa and her "sporty" sister Cathriona remained close after the younger sibling moved to the US to pursue her career as a beautician and film make-up artist.
Cathriona often posted photos and messages of support to Tipperary GAA team on her Twitter and Instagram feed.

The girls' brother James is a military man who has received honours for his service and bravery.
Cathriona found herself in the headlines in 2012 after being pictured with Hollywood actor Jim Carrey. The couple were in an on/off relationship over the last number of years.
The Hollywood actor paid tribute to his ex-girlfriend, saying learning of her death was like being "hit with a lightning bolt."
In Carrey's statement, he said Ms White was a "kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil".
He added: "My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
Cathriona's father's family are the local funeral directors 'Whites' based on Cappawhite's Main Street. Her father passed away from cancer in 2012 after being in ill-health for a number of years.
Five days ago, Cathriona posted the following on her Twitter account: "Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest."
