The world number five tennis star was recently linked to rising NFL player JJ Watt and were said to be in the early days of a romance, but the Danish athlete said she's still enjoying time on her own.

She famously split with world number one golfer Rory McIlroy in May of last year, in a nine minute phone call just days after their wedding invitations were sent.

"I am single and happy to live my life," she said yesterday, in between competing at Wimbledon.

"I'm not looking for anybody or anything. I'm just living my life. I just live my life and do what I want to do and don't think about what is written about me. When I am on court, I am so focused on what I am doing, that's all I think about - trying to win the next point."

Watt even jetted to Paris last month to support her at the French Open and the pair were spotted mixing business and pleasure as they enjoyed time together in the City of Light.
