Caitlyn Jenner’s first on-screen kiss with 'lover' Candis set to cause a stir
Woman of the moment Caitlyn Jenner’s highly anticipated television documentary will feature the star locked in a passionate embrace with her love interest, Candis Cayne.
‘I am Cait’ is set to air in Ireland next month. The fly-on-the-wall documentary follows the tv personality’s transition from male to female at the age of 65.
According to sources, Caitlyn (65) fell head over heels for transgender actress and performer Candis (43) when they met during New York’s annual Gay Pride festival.
To date, they have apparently been inseparable. Caitlyn invited Candis to attend the ESPY Awards as her guest, and the duo spent the day together at the Delmar races earlier this week.
“Cait is so smitten she insisted on dragging Candis in front of the cameras,” an insider working on the I Am Cait production has revealed.
Candis herself is no stranger to the cameras, having already appeared on television shows like Nip/Tuck. In 2007, she became the first transgender woman to play a transgender character on network television, in a role on political drama Dirty Sexy Money.
Candis is reportedly set to appear in three episodes alongside Caitlyn, with the potential for her role to be expanded.
“They are a very romantic couple and I think viewers will find their kiss very tender and emotionally uplifting. It’s very clear they have a lot in common and there is terrific chemistry between them.”
I Am Cait debuts on American tv next Sunday.
