Jodi Albert looks set to have a very merry 2016 indeed, given the success of her new boutique.
Last month saw Kian Egan's other half opening her new store in the Quayside Shopping Centre, in their home town of Sligo, and it's already doing a roaring trade.
Called Jodi's Boutique and bearing the motto "Add a little sparkle", Jodi has revealed that such has been the demand for her stock, she's now going to start an online shop.
The former Hollyoaks actress said that opening the shop was a "dream come true".
"I'm even happier now that it's all come to life. I had this vision in my head for a long time, and to see it brought to life is incredible. I'm so happy with it all," she said.
"It's what I hoped it would be and much more. I used all local people to fit it out and they've completely helped me with my vision. I'm overwhelmed. It's such a dream come true for me."
Meanwhile, Kian revealed how hard Christmas had been for the family in the wake of the death of Jodi's mum.
Last February, Jodi's mum Eileen passed away after a battle with cancer. A few months later, Jodi become a second-time mum with the arrival of her son, Zeke.
"We had a sad Christmas last year with Jodi's mum being so ill," said Kian.
"And it's sad this year, being our first Christmas without her, but we have our new baby Zeke and it's his first Christmas so it's a happy one, too.
"Having a new baby at Christmas time is always nice," he added.
