Bruce Jenner 'travelling at 38mph' before fatal LA car crash
Bruce Jenner was travelling at 38 miles per hour when he crashed, according to reports.
The 65-year-old former athlete hit a Lexus while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu earlier this month.
His action caused the vehicle to swerve into traffic coming from the opposite direction and crash into a Hummer. The accident resulted in the death of the driver of the Lexus.
Bruce’s SUV then crashed into a Prius that was driving in front of the Lexus.
Now TMZ.com claims to have obtained data from the Sensing Diagnostic Module in Bruce’s vehicle, which allegedly proved that he was driving at a speed between 46 and 47 miles per hour when he hit the brakes.
Sources told the website that the crash, which lasted around three seconds in total, took place almost straight after the 65-year-old braked.
TMZ claims that the crash could have taken place due to the fact that Bruce hadn’t seen the two cars stopped at the traffic light.
Bruce could face vehicular manslaughter charges if it’s found that he crashed into the Lexus first and caused the accident.
Meanwhile, it has also been claimed that Bruce’s departure from Keeping Up with the Kardashians is entirely his choice.
It was originally reported that the former Olympian was being kicked off the show, but now RadarOnline.com insists that it’s all his own decision.
“Bruce is being phased out of the show in the upcoming Season 10, but it is by his own choice,” a network source told the outlet. “Bruce is definitely leaving the show willingly and cannot wait until he is no longer locked under the blanket of Kris’s contractual obligations.”
