Police investigating a fatal crash in which Bruce Jenner was involved will get a search warrant to see if he was texting at the time of collision.

TMZ.com are reporting that the LA County Sheriff's Department will obtain the warrant.

Sources have told TMZ they are seeking to get two warrants for both Bruce's phone records and the mobile phone itself.

It is illegal to text while driving in the State of California.

If it is determined that Bruce was texting, he could face a charge of vehicular manslaughter.

Photos taken of Bruce before the impact cannot determine if he was texting or not.
