Popstar and Strictly finalist Frankie Bridge said she "couldn't care less" if she puts on weight following her second pregnancy - and said she hates the pressure on women to return to their pre-baby figure.

The Saturdays singer, married to former England and Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge, said she loves juggling her career with her family life, and does not know how her second child will be delivered following a caesarean with first-born Parker.

She told the Sunday People's Love Sunday magazine: "From the minute you tell people you're pregnant, everyone's saying what you should do.

"Especially in my job, people expect you to stay a size six the whole way through, then get back to normal straight away, and that's not realistic.

"I couldn't care less if I put on four stone with this one, or nothing. You just deal with it."

Bridge said she did not know she was pregnant for the second time as she danced her way to the latter stages of the BBC dance competition in December.

She was "devastated" when she realised she would not be able to take part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing tour due to acute morning sickness during the early stages of pregnancy.

Her second child, a sibling for 18-month-old son Parker, is due in August.

Bridge said it was just as well she did not know she was pregnant while on her way to the final, where she lost out to television presenter and new X Factor host Caroline Flack.

She said: "With all the lifts, it was probably best I didn't know, to be honest."
