It's a bad day for seagulls in Dublin.
Not only have they been given a lashing by callers to Joe Duffy's Liveline, but now musician Bressie has laid some blame on the poor gulls too!
Musician and sports lover Niall Breslin picked up some war wounds while training for his triathlon.
And the jokester decided to point the blame at the capital city's seagull population.
'The sea gulls got me. We are in a war people,' the singer tweeted.
'Day before triathlon and split head. Good start'.
Bressie's gull bashing comes a day after Fianna Fail senator called on the Government to take action against “raucous” seagulls that are attacking young children.
Ned O’Sullivan said seagulls have “lost the run of themselves” in Dublin City and are even taking lollipops from children.
Speaking in the Seanad, the Kerry politician said: “They are very raucous, they are keeping people awake.
They are getting so cheeky now they are attacking young children.”
Mr O’Sullivan said the new Minister for the Environment Minister Alan Kelly needed to take action.
