'Better luck this time ay?' - Professor Green sparks engagement rumours, a year after divorce from Millie Mackintosh
One thing is for certain - Professor Green knows how to get people talking.
The Read All About It hitmaker (33) sparked engagement rumours on Valentine's Day after sharing a snap of his girlfriend Fae Williams wearing a serious canary yellow diamond ring on Instagra
He captioned the pic "Better luck this time, ay?", poking fun at his divorce from reality star and socialite Millie Mackintosh in February 2016 after two years of marriage.
Soon after, Millie began dating ex-boyfriend Hugo Taylor and Williams enjoyed a string of high profile romances before meeting Williams, a British model, in October.
And it looks like they aren't wasting any time with a series of cryptic posts on Instagram, hinting he'll be walking up the aisle again.
Green, real name Stephen Mandelson, first shared a picture of the ring designed by Tessa Metcalfe before sharing a snap of his other half drinking champagne.
It's not clear if the proposal was serious or not as later in the night he shared a selfie of him also wearing the ring saying he was "engaged to myself".
The rapper, who was linked to Irish tv presenter Vogue Williams last year, said he wouldn't divulge any personal details about his marriage and subsequent split to Millie, a Quality Street heiress.
"I think the best approach with any matter that personal is a dignified silence, especially when there's another party involved," he said in August.
"I never attempted to monetise my relationship and forget whatever celebrity fodder you read, wherever you read it, it wasn't a celebrity relationship, it wasn't a celebrity marriage and it wasn't a celebrity divorce, we're two people.
"You've got to consider people's feeling and the fact we've had to deal with it and are still dealing with it, so I just think that's it."
Their split came as a shock to fans, but insiders said they saw the break-up coming and Mandelson revealed just weeks before the announcement that he had only seen his wife once in 2016 due to their busy schedules.
"It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation," they said in the statement.
"It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known that it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well."
