Bella Hadid reveals how she got away with wearing that red dress at Cannes

Bella Hadid stole the show at Cannes Film Festival last month in the slinky red dress that made headlines worldwide, and now we know how she kept her modesty, despite the very little material she had to work with.
While tape and strategic placing were among the guesses of how she pulled off the stomach-skimming dress, Bella was in fact wearing a very high waisted leotard underneath the Alexandre Vauthier gown.
"I didn't have a problem with it at all, it held itself together," she told Glamour magazine.
"If there was a little wind that would have been a problem but there wasn't. It all worked out!"
The 19-year-old model admitted that she was scared wearing the revealing gown, but said that the risk was worth it.
"I've always wanted to wear a red dress, it's just been my dream since I was a little girl.”
"Ever since prom and freshman, it's always been what I wanted to wear but I never could. I'm usually very simple with my red carpet looks - I tend to just wear black - so this was a big risk. I was sort of scared about it, but I've had so much nice feedback which was exciting."
However Bella, younger sister to Gigi Hadid, won’t be wearing anything that risky again for quite a while.
"I might wear a variation of it, but that's definitely the riskiest thing I'll wear in a while. I'll tone the next few down; you gotta keep them guessing and on their toes you know?"
Bella was recently announced as the latest Dior beauty ambassador and is set to release several videos with the luxury makeup brand.
