Beckhams rent home opposite new pad
Victoria and David Beckham are going to be keeping a close eye on renovations to their new London home, as they have apparently rented the house opposite.
The family recently splurged £45 million on the mansion in West London and are reportedly spending another £3 million on doing it up, but have now become tenants of an almost identical house across the street that is worth the same amount, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is thought they are keen to be able to oversee the work on their new home as it happens, so they have found a temporary crash pad just 90 feet away.
The Beckhams will also be in close collaboration with the builders, as they are Victoria's dad Tony and his team, and David is said to have been helping them out with moving furniture.
Despite buying the seven-bed mansion before Christmas, the family aren't expecting to be able to move in until around Christmas this year.
The new home includes an indoor pool, gym, sauna, cinema and panic room, and Posh's interior designer friend Kelly Hoppen has reportedly been tasked with doing it up once the building work is finished.
David and Victoria will live there with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper.
