Former The Great British Bake Off Contestant Ruby Tandoh was previously trolled online for ‘flirting’ with judge Paul Hollywood.
The 22-year-old baker and food writer posted a video of Diana Ross’ hit song ‘I’m Coming Out’ to make the announcement.
"Me to my parents today. Feeling lucky and joyful and free. Over and Out,” she said.
The talented food blogger thanked her fans for their support and positivity, but also hit out at those who trolled her in the past.
“p.s. for those who thought I fancied Paul Hollywood or that I'd ever bang him to get ahead - JOKE'S ON YOU, YOU MASSIVE SHITTING MISOGYNISTS,” she wrote online.
In response, Hollywood questioned her motives for the tweet.
“Very happy for you Ruby... but why do you feel it necessary bringing me into your announcement?” he replied directly to her.
A subsequent tweet sent by the 49-year-old read, "For all those having a pop over what I said I'm thinking of my family seeing it too."
In 2013, when Ruby was a participant on the popular show, Paul was going through highly public marital troubles with his long term wife Alexandra.
After it was revealed that Hollywood had been having an affair with American chef, Marcela Valladolid, Alexandra forced him to leave the family home.
They later reconciled their marriage.
