The Notebook star Ryan Gosling has said that he thinks women are better than men, and revealed that he’s very in touch with his feminine side.
“I think women are better than men,” he told London’s Evening Standard. “They are stronger. More evolved.”
The 35-year-old went on to speak about his two daughters, 20-month-old Esmeralda and new born Amada, who he welcomed into the world with partner Eva Mendes in May.
“You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”
Gosling is notoriously known for being in touch with his feminine side, and when asked what per cent woman he is, the heart throb replied: “I’d say 49 per cent, sometimes 47 per cent, it depends on what day you catch me.”
“I’ve always liked women more. I was brought up by my mother and older sister,” he continued.
“I found my way into dance class. My home life now is mostly women. They are better than us. They make me better.”
Gosling stars alongside Russel Crowe in action comedy The Nice Guys, in cinemas now.
