Andy Murray expecting a second child with wife Kim 17 months after daughter Sophia's arrival

The couple will be welcoming a new sibling for daughter, Sophia.

Tennis star Andy Murray and his wife, Kim Sears, are expecting their second child, sources have said.

The couple, who married in 2015, already have a one-year-old daughter, Sophia.

According to reports, the pair have already told friends and family about the happy news, which comes as 30-year-old Murray prepares for his first match on Monday at Wimbledon as defending champion.

Murray will take to the SW19 court on Monday, where he will face Russia’s Alexander Bublik.

Murray and brother, follow professional player Jamie, were encouraged to play tennis as children by their mother, Judy.
