It's rumoured that the 30-year-old has been spending a lot of time with billionaire Elon Musk amid the actress' high profile and messy divorce from Johnny Depp.

TMZ reported that the pair have been seeing a lot of each other in the past few months.

Elon (45) is the business mogul behing Tesla Motors and American aerospace manufacturer and space transport company, SpaceX.

He and Amber have been friends for years and while a source confirmed they're not dating, their friendship has "intensified" in recent months.

They allegedly enjoyed a dinner date last weekend at his LA home and were reportedly joined by her sister at a hotel party in Miami.

The gossip site also states that Amber has been seen visiting his LA office and Elon has been on "several visits" to her home.

Elon is also going through a divorce himself so it's quite possible that the pair, as longtime friends, are offering each other mutual support as they go through a difficult time.

Amber filed for divorce from Johnny Depp on May 23, before obtaining a temporary restraining order against the Hollywood star.

She alleged he had abused her two days before she started legal proceedings to end their marriage and proved photo evidence to the court.
