Last night at the premiere of her husband George's film Hail, Caesar!, she stole the spotlight.

The lawyer walked the red carpet in a red and white flared dress by Giambattista Valli, a similar take on a dress she wore in Venice at the time of her wedding.

George Clooney credited his lawyer wife of over a year for adjusting to the limelight.

He told Entertainment Tonight: 'She does very well with that. It's hard to do.'

"Well it's fun for me. I don't know how much fun it is for her."

The 54-year-old heartthrob tied the knot with wife Amal in a lavish ceremony in Venice in September 2014 and the couple are currently enjoying the honeymoon period of wedded life.

George has previously said how he feels celebrity gossip columnists had said the relationsip wouldn't last.

"They said it wouldn't last," he grinned to talkshow host Stephen Colbert, who commented on his arm-candy status. "Shiny and pretty – that's mostly what I do now."

George has done nothing but gush about Amal since she became his wife. It's clear the former bachelor is smitten and he even revealed they may be settling in the brunette beauty's home country.

"I couldn't be happier. We're having a really fun time. We’re working on fixing up a house in England that we’ll be spending a lot of time in just outside of London," he previously told Good Morning America.
