Amal Clooney cradles blossoming baby bump for dinner with her look-a-like mother in London
Amal Clooney is changing the maternity style game.
The human rights lawyer is expecting twins with husband George Clooney and has been dazzling in an array of couture dresses in recent weeks.
For an evening out in London with her mother on Wednesday night, the world-renowned barrister opted for a red Dior Haute Couture shift dress with a Balmain Haute Couture camel coat and Oscar de la Renta colourful satin heels.
Since she was propelled to international stardom when her relationship with the actor became public in 2013, Amal instantly cemented her style icon status.
And her maternity style is just as inspiring, as she showed last night before dining with her mother Baria Alamuddin at Villandry in London, just hours after speaking at the Accountability: International Crimes in Syria and Iraq event at Chatham House.
Earlier in the week, tabloids were criticised for focusing on her fashion while appearing at the United Nations in order to gather evidence in her case against ISIS, joined by Nobel Peace Prize nominee Nadia Murad.
Meanwhile, her husband George recently spoke about his excitement at becoming a first-time father at 55, saying the expectant mother is doing "amazing".
The star previously joked that thinking about French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, who had a child with his second wife when he was 70, made him feel good about being an older father.
"So, I'm feeling a little better about being 56 by the time (the babies are born)," he said.
