Alec Baldwin ‘arrested after going ballistic’ at police
ACTOR Alec Baldwin has been arrested by police in New York, it has been reported.
Photos have emerged which show the famously volatile actor being cuffed and put in to a police car, according to In Touch.
The star was stopped by police officers who noticed him cycling his bike the wrong way down Fifth Avenue.
An eyewitness told the publication that he ‘went ballistic’ at officers and was screaming at them.
He was placed under arrest a short time later and put in the back of a police car.
It is believed the actor was just cycling for exercise at the time.
The actor is no stranger to controversy.
In November his new show was pulled off air after the actor was caught calling a photographer a 'c***sucking f**'.
In 1997, he allegedly called a horse carriage driver a “f*****” for supporting carriage rides outside Central Park.
In 2011, he was accused of calling a Starbucks barista an “uptight queen.”
The following year he called an editor of The New York Daily News an “English queen.”
In June of last year he tweeted out a rant at a Daily Mail reporter, calling him a “toxic queen” and said he would “stick my foot up your a**”, except he would “dig it too much.”
The actor tweeted about his arrest this evening: "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."
