After 30 years, Bono and Ali Hewson look like lovestruck teens on St Tropez trip
After 31 years and four children, Bono and Ali Hewson are clearly as in love as ever.
The pair, who wed in Dublin in 1982, are among the world's most famous power couples and are thought to have one of the best relationships in Hollywood.
And they were spotted cuddling like lovestruck teenagers as they enjoyed a boat day with friends on the French Riviera.
Bono wore his trademark sunglasses and protected himself from the rays with a white fedora, while stylish Ali wore a multi-coloured kaftan and low-key flip flops.
The Hewsons have a home in St Tropez and spend their summers there rubbing shoulders with fellow A-listers.
The happily married couple credit their strong relationship with their down-to-earth nature.
"I don't feel threatened. You can live your life being scared of losing someone and, at the end of the day, if he is going to leave you, he'll leave you and that's it," she previously said.
Bono echoed: "I feel our relationship has changed a lot. For a while I thought I was in charge. I was the hunter-protector. A few years ago it became clear somebody else was in charge and I feel I hold on a lot tighter to her than she does to me, and that slightly bothers me.
"She's so independent and sometimes I wish she wasn't."
