Actress Leigh Arnold jets to Ibiza for dream wedding with Steve Davies
Actress Leigh Arnold has jetted off to Ibiza for her intimate wedding bash, it has been revealed.
The former Clinic actress (34) will enjoy a nuptial blessing with her partner Steve Davies on the sun-kissed holiday island this Saturday.
Obviously a popular venue for Irish celebrities, she’ll still be over in Ibiza when former Miss World Rosanna Davison jets in for her wedding nuptials on the June Bank holiday weekend.
Leigh and Steve will be joined by a handful of close friends and relatives as they seal the deal in a romantic ceremony.
The Manchester-based pair married in a registry office in Dublin on May 8 in what she described as the “legal part” of proceedings.
Now the happy couple, who have a young son Hunter (2), will have a bigger bash in a luxurious resort in Ibiza this weekend, the Herald can reveal.
The gorgeous star will have her two best friends Claire Malone and Lynn McDonough as her bridesmaids as well as her model sister Chloe Arnold.
Also there will be her two brothers Nicky and Simon alongside her parents David and Mo. TV presenter Izabela Chudzicka is also on the guest list, as is Chloe’s musician hubbie Justin Manville.
Leigh’s inner circle have been described as “amazing” in recent times, given the traumatic year that she and Steve have had.
Her two-week-old baby boy Flynn passed away from sudden infant death syndrome on May 18 last year. Paying tribute to him, she wrote last week: “This time last year you were cuddled in my arms my love. I miss you every second. My Flynn x.”
Now a close pal said that she’s trying to put the sad times behind her and relish a happy wedding celebration in one of her favourite holiday resorts.
“She has been through so much over the past year, so much heartache,” said her friend.
“She’s really looking forward to some happier times, surrounded by all her best friends and family. She wants it to be a celebration and something that she’ll remember forever.”
Leigh recently said how she was “blessed to have amazing friends and family” as she looks forward to life as a newly-wed. She has been with Steve for over four years after meeting him through mutual friends in London where she moved to further her acting career. She has described him as the “love of her life” and the pair have even indicated they may even move over to Dublin.
