Abbey Clancy to feature on exclusive fashion programmes for BBC iPlayer
The BBC iPlayer is to hit the catwalk in September with three exclusive fashion programmes featuring model Abbey Clancy, singer Lianne La Havas and fashion blogger Grace Victory.
Audiences will have unprecedented access to London Fashion Week, the UK's most important fashion event of the year. For the first time ever, the event is being held in a car park in Soho.
In London Fashion Week: Abbey Clancy's Top Picks, the 29-year-old opens the door on the glamorous world of high-end fashion, meeting cutting-edge designers and getting up close and personal with their creations.
London Fashion Week: Abbey Clancy's Top Picks will be exclusively available on the BBC iPlayer from 9pm on Sunday September 27.
Clancy said: "London is renowned for being one of the best fashion weeks in the world and I love all the hustle and bustle surrounding all the shows - the city is buzzing for the whole week."
In London Fashion Week: Grace Victory's Top Picks, the fashion blogger will attend some of the most innovative shows, and reveal the way fashionistas can take inspiration from the event.
The programme will be available on the BBC iPlayer from 9pm on Tuesday September 29.
Victory said: "London Fashion Week excites me as I get the low down on what's going to be on trend for the coming year. I'm a total fashionista and a self-declared savvy shopper."
In Private View: Lianne La Havas On Shoes, the singer will take viewers on a private view of the V&A exhibition Shoes: Pleasure and Pain and reveal the artistic and social history of footwear.
The exhibition displays 200 shoes ranging from gold leaf ancient Egyptian flip flops and the platforms that tripped up supermodel Naomi Campbell, to the latest extraordinary contemporary designs.
Private View: Lianne La Havas On Shoes will be available on the BBC iPlayer from 7am on Sunday September 27.
La Havas said: "I love shoes, in any shape and form. And as a kid it was my beloved blue suede trainers with white fluorescent stripes, but as I grew up, so did the shoes. For me, shoes and fashion can be just like music, the perfect way of expressing your shifting identity."
