'Can’t wait to meet my new godson'- Pippa O'Connor asks best mate Brian Dowling to be baby Louis' godfather
Pippa O’Connor has shared the first proper photo of new baby Louis who was born just five days ago.
Looking besotted with her new arrival, she posted a natural-looking picture of herself cuddling her tiny tot as she revealed her delight at becoming a second-time mum.
“No feeling like it in the world. That smell that you wish you could bottle and the feeling of the softest skin you’ve ever touched. Taking in every moment of Louis,” she said.
Pippa (31), her husband Brian Ormond and son Ollie (3) welcomed little Louis into the world last Monday and are clearly over the moon with the latest addition to their family.
The celebrity couple were inundated with good wishes from their many well-known pals, including Rosanna Davison and Claudine Keane.
And they have also picked a high-profile godfather for their adorable little boy.
Former Big Brother presenter Brian Dowling will be doing the honours for the pair and said he was “thrilled” to have been asked by them.
“Can’t wait to meet my new godson,” he said.
Social media star Pippa said she was delighted that the TV star had accepted the duty and joked how her son “won’t be short on love and laughter” as a result.
She had kept her legion of online followers updated throughout her pregnancy as she continued to cut a stylish figure, even nine months gone.
Pippa now plans to take some much-needed time off to nest at home in Kildare with her two little boys – but said that she would still be updating her popular blog.
“I was asked to do something in June, and I said yes.
“I’m busier than ever and to be honest I haven’t decided yet about how much time I’ll take off.
“I’m just going to see how I feel. The joy of being my own boss, I suppose, is that I can make that decision at the time.”
She said her second pregnancy was very different to her first as she’s “just so busy all the time”.
“Before I would have been looking at all the apps thinking ‘Oh I’m X amount of days today and the baby is the size of a banana today,” she said.
