The circumstances into the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown is now the subject of a murder investigation, US media outlets are now reporting.
Bobbi Kristina, who was the only child of the late singer Whitney Houston and rapper Bobby Brown, passed away yesterday, some six months after she was found face down in a bathtub of water at her Atlanta, Georgia home.
At the time of her death, the 22-year-old was living with a man she referred to as her husband - Nick Gordon.
Mr Gordon is now being treated as a "person of interest" by police who are investigating her death.
Although six months have passed since Bobbi Christina was found in a critical condition in her home, law enforcement sources have told TMZ that they are now confident a post mortem examination will find a direct link between the incident and her death.
The same sources told TMZ.com they have felt from the beginning that 'foul play' was involved.

It has been previously reported that paramedics who treated the young woman at the scene before rushing her to hospital noticed bruising on her face and upper body.
Bobbi Kristina had been in an induced coma since she was found submerged in the bathtub in January.
Her family decided to take her off all medication after doctors informed them there was nothing they could do for her.
She was moved to a hospice on June 26th.
She passed away yesterday afternoon surrounded by her loved ones.
Nick Gordon has previously told another interview that he had nothing to do with the young woman's death and that drugs were responsible.
