Amanda Byram weds TV producer love in secret ceremony
Amanda Byram married her love Julian Okines in a private ceremony this weekend, which certainly explains her absence from last night’s Irish Film and Television Awards.
The TV presenter wed her TV producer boyfriend in an intimate ceremony, attended by guests including Laura Whitmore.
Amanda’s close friend Yvonne Connolly shared photographs from the ceremony where she and her boyfriend John Conroy were enjoying the festivities, which she captioned with ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’.
Amanda and Julian experienced a short engagement, as the former model only proposed on New Year’s Eve.
Amanda took to Twitter on New Year’s Day to share the good news telling her followers she was “Back on home soil after the adventure of a lifetime. Oh and got engaged!”
Speaking about their relationship last year Amanda said; “You always hope that you’re going to meet someone who will be your partner in crime.”
The broadcaster is clearly besotted saying; “He is absolutely brilliant. His background is psychology degree-slash-model. So his mind is pretty brilliant. And he's hot!
Byram previously dated Northern Irish presenter Patrick Kielty and rugby player Craig McMullen who she split from in 2012.
Last year, the Dubliner said she would still consider having children. “I'm fit, I'm healthy, there are no problems in that sense. So who knows? It's in the hands of the gods."
