Triona McCarthy: Insider tricks from Kylie Jenner's pout to Victoria Beckham's favourite face mask

From Kylie Jenner-style lip tints, to Victoria Beckham's favourite face mask, plus brow-know how and handy hints, our very own beauty guru, has it all.
Calling all Kylie Jenner fans! Have you tried to get your lips on her lipsticks and found them sold out? Again?
Well, I've got just the dupe for you, courtesy of Michelle Morgan, a transition-year student from Schull in West Cork, who was with me for the week doing her work experience.
I learnt a lot about what the 'young wans' want from this sassy 17-year-old, and Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner klan, is king.
Anyhoo, the NYX Lip Lingerie Collection, comes in 12 nude-y shades, at the great price of €9.25. They are very similar hues to those 1990s grungy colours beloved of the hip-lip lovelies.
Bedtime Flirt, above, is a great dupe for Kylie's Candy K from her Lip Kit range. It's a light mousse formula, and the applicator wand is perfect for precise application. It dries matte in seconds, leaving a velvety finish with no smearing on your coffee cup, or on my kiddies' heads!
For plumped-up looking lips, line your lips slightly outside their natural line, and then lightly dust a matte brown shadow underneath the bottom lip. The shadow this creates will give the illusion that your lips are fuller. It's the perfect choice for those girls who don't want those fillers.
If a pinkish nude like Kylie's Koko K - inspired by Kylie's big sis Khloe - is more your thang, then Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bellissima, below, €21, is a must. I'm wearing it in my photo, above.
Since this lasts all day, use an oil-based make-up remover to take it off.
Get ready to Sellotape your eyes! Cut two small strips, then put them on the back of your hand, and pull them off; this will make it easier to remove the tape when you're finished. Apply the tape from the outer edge of your eye up towards the end of your eyebrow. This will act as a guideline for your winged eyeliner, leaving all your mess-ups on the tape!
Brows with benefits
I went to see the new George Clooney and Julia Roberts film Money Monster recently, but it was Irish gal Caitriona Balfe who blew me away. Not only is her acting worth an award, but so are her eyebrows! They were lovely - light and natural, and just so chic.
I cannot bear blown-up, permanent-marker, drawn-on eyebrows. That look is so over, and it's not flattering. So the brow is finally going back to normality.
The most stylish peeps never take on trends. Can you imagine Kate Moss with crazy brows, or Cate Blanchett?
Now, in saying that, we still need a little product. Benefit have recently brought out an entire range of products just for brows, and as you would expect, the packaging is very pretty.
I really like the all-in-one brow grooming tweezer & brush, €21; while precisely, my brow pencil, left, €26, is great for giving a little definition.

Triona's most wanted
When Victoria Beckham posted a pic of herself lying on her bed, wearing a silver mask, and eh, sunglasses, as she prepped for a big night out at the recent Cannes Film Festival, I thought, "I need whatever the hell that is!"
Thanks to Gary from the Estee Lauder counter in Brown Thomas in Dublin, I got my hands on one of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Masks, above, €135 for a pack of eight, which Vic swears by.
The mask has a foil side for super absorption; it really makes sense to lock in the moisture. Expect lots of copies. Anyhoo, the 10 minutes of entertainment this mask provided to Maxi and Mini, with me looking like the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz, was nearly enough for me. I'm a multi-tasking, masking mum, me!
Anyway, after 10 minutes I peeled the mask off, tapped any excess product in and went to bed. Next morning, I felt like I had drunk gallons of water, as my skin was looking so plump and radiant. Not bad for only 10 minutes of fun. There's not much time for pampering in my house.
My top tip is to rub any excess in the packet down your neck and arms, and the back of your hands, so not a drop goes to waste.
Put your hands up, as this is the only weapon to reach for! Arm yourself with L'Occitane's Almond Velvet Hands SPF 15, €21, my, em, hands-down new favourite summer hand cream, with its SPF protection, quick-drying formula and fabulous fragrance. It's a must-have for mums who run a taxi service for their kids, or anyone else that does a lot of driving. #drivingmisscrazy
