Capri Sun? Tramp Sniff? Desperation? Tulisa fails to find the Tweet smell of success in asking fans to help name her new fragrance.

X Factor judge Tulisa has been left red-faced after she appealed to her three million followers on Twitter to suggest a name for her new fragrance.

Among the less-than-flattering responses were “Chavalicious”, “Desperation” and “Chip Shop Reject”.

The 24-year-old British singer, most famous for her track “Young”, tweeted at the weekend; “So my new perfume is comming out very soon and im stuck for a name. You guys wanna help? Hit me with your ideas.”

The former N-Dubz star received a barrage of insulting messages mocking her latest foray into the perfume industry and highlighting her spelling errors.

One Twitter user wrote: “Maybe she should keep it simple with: Tulisa Contostavlos’s Perfume – shortened to TCP. Which means it’ll pass the Trade’s Description Act.”

Others explicit comments referenced the singer’s leaked sex tape.

Not to be deterred, Tulisa ended her Twitter session shortly afterwards with the post “Gotta dash, ill be back later! Keep those names comming! x”.

This is Tulisa’s second perfume, having released her first fragrance “The Female Boss” in October 2011, and is due out later this year.

The social media embarrassment comes as Tulisa’s future on The X Factor is in doubt. After speculation she had been axed from the programme, the brunette beauty may strike a new £500,000 deal to stay on the panel.

Tulisa could secure a third consecutive series on the popular programme as Nicole Scherzinger considers quitting in order to focus on her music career.

Tulisa is also currently working on her second solo album.

The new record will follow her debut album released in 2012, also entitled “The Female Boss”, which debuted at number 35 in the UK Singles Chart.
