Pic 'n' mix: Electric Picnic beauty tips

The Electric Picnic, which kicks off on Friday, is the last hurrah of the summer. But what a send-off. The festival features Roxy Music, Massive Attack and Imelda May among a host of other acts, all of which demand that you look simply fabulous. Oh, the pressure!
So once you've got your outfits sorted, your wellies are on and your parka is packed, it's time to focus on your face.
Make-up artist Terry Barber reckons that MAC's Strobe Cream (€31) is a must. Apply all over your face for a dewy, luminous glow.
Pay homage to Woodstock with a cool, trippy but healthy look -- think a sun-flushed cheek, lots and lots of mascara and a slick of coral lippie.
If that all seems a little bit too much effort, take a tip from singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, who explains how she manages to look glamourous while avoiding the mud.
"A bit of eyeliner and mascara is all I wear.
"You don't know when you're going to see a mirror anyway, so best just keep it simple.
"Pack a satchel with any essentials you may need during the day so you're still hands-free. And always take dry shampoo -- it's a brilliant invention."
