My makeup bag secrets... with Claudia Schiffer
Published 21/08/2015 | 11:11
Iconic supermodel Claudia Schiffer allows us take a peak inside her makeup bag.
The statuesque beauty shared her beauty secrets with Stella Magazine, revealing everything from her skincare heroes and favourite fragrances.
The German model also divulged her most embarrassing beauty memories and how she found her feet in the world of modelling.
"When I turned 14, my mother gave me a pot of cream and explained that from now on, I was to moisturise. She also took me to her hairdresser to get a “Nena” (of 99 Luftballons fame) layered haircut," the 44-year-old said.
"I always planned to be a lawyer and join my father in his law firm one day, although my secret dream was to be a designer. I doodled bathing suits and dresses all day. That all changed once I was spotted by a model agent in a disco in Düsseldorf."
"I think you should take care of your health by counting chemicals and sugar content, not calories. I also use great moisturisers and work out by doing long walks with our dogs, plus yoga and pilates with my trainer David Higgins," the mum-of-three mused.
She cited her top beauty icons as 1960s and 1970s legends, Jane Birkin, Lauren Hutton and Charlotte Rampling.
