It's not hair gel or aftershave.
Hair gel and aftershave didn’t make the list for men’s top three grooming products, but what did might surprise you.
Thankfully, it seems that personal hygiene is for important than appearance for men, with shower gel topping the list as the most important product in a man’s daily grooming regime.
In second place is shampoo, followed by deodorant.
One in two men spend less than 10 minutes on their grooming regime before work, while one in 10 claim to spend up to 30 minutes getting ready.
In comparison, one in five women spend up to 30 minutes getting ready, with one in 10 taking up to 40 minutes.
While women are often hounded by their other halves for spending hours browsing the beauty aisles for new products, the report found that men spend 42% more time researching products than women.
The results come from the Unilever Personal Care 2016 Report, which surveyed 981 people in the Republic of Ireland.
