Origins Save The Males Multi-benefit Moisturiser, €39 This wonderfully named cream is packed with oil-controlling avocado extract, as well as a blend of sunflower seeds, barley and cucumber extract which work together to provide a comforting lotion.
Clinique Skin Supplies for Men Post-Shave Healer, €24 You don't have to be a sensitive soul to really benefit from this tingly gel, which is chock-ful of aloe vera. Smooth on skin after shaving to reduce redness, calm irritation and soothe razor burn. Oil- and fragrance-free, it doesn't feel sticky and you can apply moisturiser straight away.
King of Shaves AlphaOil, €4.50, available in Dunnes, Superquinn and SuperValu I've heard from a very reliable source that this oil makes the morning shave a much nicer experience as it softens bristles and helps the razor get to work a lot more comfortably. Bonus marks for a great price.
Kiehls Facial Fuel Energising Face Wash, €20.50 It contains caffeine, menthol and vitamin E, along with lemon and orange peels, so this will leave tired skin feeling refreshed and well prepared for a less irritating, comfortable shave, not to mention looking healthier.
Clarins Men Revitalising Gel, €42 Hungover and trying to hide it?! This lightweight, quick-fix gel is just what you need. Apply on clean skin to energise and tone, while also rehydrating. The non-greasy formula is protective too, as it contains the brand's unique anti-pollution complex.

Let's hear it for the boys! They may borrow our lotions and potions on the QT, but there are some fab products designed just for them. Check out these hard-working alpha-male products.
