Pippa O'Connor is fast becoming one of Ireland's most influential women.
The model turned blogger has spent the last 18 months building her website into a lifestyle go-to and her selling power has become more apparent than ever with her latest foray into the beauty business.
The mother-of-one teamed up with Irish company Blank Canvas Cosmetics to launch her debut makeup range, including a 'Pippa palette' which has already sold out in pre-sale.
"I knew I wanted to develop my own brand of products but I was unsure of where to start," she wrote in a post on Pippa.ie.
SO HERE IT IS The Pippa Palette. Containing 6 gorgeous gradients of nude toned, matte finish, luxuriously smooth, pigmented eyeshadows. Plus 3 face shades- a blush, a matte warm brown bronzer, and finally, the most beautiful highlighter I've ever seen. "We trialled, tested, changed, scraped, tested some more, designed, travelled, laughed, cried!! (I think only I cried) until the palette was eventually at our standards and satisfaction. I honestly thought this day would never come and I couldn’t be prouder."
And Pippa is keeping her work close to her chest, naming shades after her favourite people and animals, but said she's particularly happy with Lulu, which she named in honour of her late mother Louise.
"It’s bizarre how things happen actually. One of the last conversations I ever had with her was typically enough about make up," she added.
Blank Canvas said they never anticipated such a huge reaction with Irish beauty buffs. Founder Una Tynan said they are "overwhelmed" by the response.
“We are overwhelmed with the response to the pre-sale of the Pippa palette and the fact that it sold out within 24 hours," Una told us. "We have been receiving great feedback regarding the quality of the palette, so we’re delighted.”
