I've tracked down the best nail superheroes that every gal needs to make your digits look divine. First up, if you have weak, flaky nails like mine, try Hair & Nails Supplements by Imedeen, below left, €28.99.
The biotin- and silica-based supplement, infused with zinc and B vitamins, conditions and cares for nails, making them less prone to breaking and flaking.
Next, get yourself a Tweezerman Pushy & Nail Cleaner, right, €15 - a 2-in-1 manicure tool to neaten cuticles and clean nails. I use it with Sally Hansen's Nail Rehab, €10.95 - a nail treatment that instantly fills in ridges and conceals damage, simply by painting on the formula.
Containing jasmine and rose extracts, it's a perfect base coat, too, and can prevent nail damage and staining, while their Cuticle Rehab, €9.95, is an intense, brush-on cuticle oil that instantly smoothes, softens and helps restore moisture to cuticles.
Ready to paint, but, oh-oh, disaster strikes and your fave bottle of nail polish has only a little left or, worse, is lumpy?
Use Leighton Denny's As Good As New, €13.76, to revive and renew old polish.
Add a few drops to any polish that has thickened, then roll the bottle between the palms of your hands to mix it up.
I can't paint my nails unless I have a Models Own Artstix Nail Corrector Pen, €7.65, as it lets me scribble away my mistakes.
Now your nails are done, why not text NAILIT to 50300 and donate €4 to Raynaud's & Scleroderma Ireland - then share your #Nailit #Selfies on Twitter!
Time to talk green fingers now. If you do a bit of gardening, do not destroy all those damn dandelions that dot your lawn.
The yellow buds are actually bursting with health benefits. Their long list of vits, mins, antioxidants and proteins (more than spinach!) make them more an elixir than an eyesore.
Sprinkle on salads, boil them to make a tea, or add to coconut oil for a home-made moisturiser.
TRIONA'S MOST WANTED
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better at Brown Sugar - my salon of choice for getting my hair and make-up done - they only go and add a great new service!
You know GlamGlow, the range of masks I've been going gaga for since they launched? Well, now you can put one on before you have your make-up done, so you'll look even more beautified.
Designed for the entertainment industry in Hollywood, with fans including Miley Cyrus, right, and Jennifer Aniston, the natural ingredients work together for a tingling, exfoliating treat to give you camera-ready skin in minutes.
So it seems only fitting that Brown Sugar clients can avail of this Hollywood treatment, too. They really do think of everything in Brown Sugar. I'm very keen on Dearbhla Keenan - the head make-up artist. There is nothing she won't do to ensure her clients look the best they possibly can. So much so that, when I was going to the Iftas a while back, she even let me borrow her own gold necklace to complete my outfit!
Anywho, Dearbhla loves to use the GlamGlow Youth Mud as a 10-minute, in-salon treatment prior to a make-up application. The results are incredible, due to the paraben-free formula, which is enriched with green-tea leaf, French sea clay and volcanic rock.
The natural ingredients give a tighter, toned and radiant appearance, resulting in a perfect canvas for a flawless foundation application.

Listen up, ladies! Be with the guy who spoils your lipstick, not your eyeliner! Think about it.
It takes a lot of time and effort to get eyeliner right, especially flicks.
I always say, never ask a girl with winged eyeliner why she's late, unless she's been using benefit they're Real! push-up liner, left, €25.
This is the first lash-hugging gel liner in a pen that is unbelievably easy to use. The matt-black gel formula doesn't smudge or budge, even if your man is being a meanie. The innovative soft AccuFlex Tip hugs your lashline from corner to corner for the fastest flicks ever!
