Make-up tips: Nars autumn look

This look uses simple blending and youthful colours for a fresh, natural finish, as seen on the catwalks of 3.1 Philip Lim. Begin by prepping skin with a primer base before applying foundation (make-up artist Benoit used Nars Sheer Matt). Use your fingers instead of a brush to blend the base for light or heavy coverage.
Eyes are touched up using a concealer stick (NarsVanilla). By applying lightly under the eye and more heavily on the inner corners, you can even out darker patches or uneven skin tones.
After applying an eyeshadow primer, platinum gold shadow was worked across the socket and up toward the browbone. Steel grey shadow was then applied to the lash line. These shadows are part of the Nars Tzarine Duo eyeshadow.
To give depth and definition to the outer eye and lid, blend the steel grey shadow from the outer corner to the crease of the eye.
Press an intense brown-black eyeshadow (Benoit used Nars Coconut Grove) along the lash line to define and lift the eyes.
To complete the eyes, Benoit used two applications of Nars Volumising Mascara on the upper eyelashes and a single coat of mascara on the lower lashes.
A sweep of Douceur Blush (a soft pink-brown) on the apples of the cheeks complements the mineral tones used on the eyes.
Apply nude beige lipstick (Nars Tashkent) with a brush for natural, sheer pink lips. To finish, lips are lined using a nude pencil.
