Make-up Muse: Whitney Port

There has been no stopping 25-year-old Whitney Port since she first appeared on our screens in The Hills three years ago.
Whitney recently cut an elegant silhouette at the Justin Bieber Never Say Never premiere in Los Angeles balancing sheer lips, plenty of liquid liner and some pared down styling which made the most of her trademark tumbling tresses.
If you're stealing this look remember to keep the base natural without killing the colour. Although Whitney's look doesn't shout glamour, it isn't in the 'pale and interesting' bracket either.
Try a light reflecting foundation like Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua which is a great all rounder. Worked into the skin by brush blending from the centre outwards, it's perfect for evening out skin tone while still having enough tint to ensure something of a glowing complexion.
Blessed with that perfectly Californian dewy glow, Whitney still likes to work a touch of blush for a flush of colour. A light swirl of Little Round Pot Blush in Rose De Jaspe by Bourjois will give cheeks a lift without being too much, and to beat those flash bulbs and keep that base shine-free, finish with a dusting of Maybelline's Oil Control Loose Powder.
Although Whitney keeps the eyeshadow quite neutral, she contrasts her look by injecting some eye drama with plenty of liquid liner. For the shadow, blend a natural or ochre palette across the lid and toward the browbone making sure the emphasis is on the blend. To really pull off the Whitney look, try MAC's Shroom before adding a gentle sweep of Urban Decay's Liquid Liner in Perversion across the lids and add some length for a feline finish. A few sweeps of volumising mascara like Rimmel The Max Volume Flash Mascara should complete the eyes.
Firmly on the fashion A-list, Whitney always seems to play to her strengths. Just enough sparkle, muted rather than harsh blonde shades and a look that is never overstyled.
As eyes and hair take centre stage in the Whitney look, confine lips to creamy pinks when it comes to the shade. Although her lip look isn't quite nude, it's much more pearl than pink so something toward sheer like Bobbi Brown's Sandwich Pink should be the perfect match. Soft, classic, elegant - we love Whitney's look.
