Khloe Kardashian is always true to her own style whether she is sashaying on the red carpet or tottering around LA in a denim romper. A dab hand at mixing high street finds with designer favourites, the youngest Kardashian has a fashion eye which has no doubt contributed to the success of her own boutique D-A-S-H.

Usually working a brighter palette, it was a surprise to see Khloe sporting a more natural look at a recent event for Nivea. Gone were the bright red lips and smokey shadows, in came a much more relaxed approach to make-up.

To get the look, begin by hydrating skin with a nourishing moisturiser like Liz Earle's Superskin before applying a reflecting foundation like Clarins Everlasting onto skin. Imperfections can be given the heave with MAC's Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer and that polished base can be kept in place with a swirl of loose powder. Normally big on the bronze, of late Khloe has kept things low key with the softest highlights for daywear. For a similar finish, use No7's Sunkissed Bronzing, a pearlized bronzer that gives cheekbones a light, blended finish.

The 'bolder is better' approach is usually favoured for eyes, though like the base, Khloe has kept things calmer with light shadows and subtle liners. Even out skin tone on the eyelid with a nude shadow before gently working a gold like MAC's Goldmine onto the socket and lower lid. Whilst gold can be bright, working lightly and gradually by building the intensity of the base will give enough to the look without going too far. Lower and upper lids can be lined to add definition. One of her best features, Khloe has never been shy on the lashes and her daytime look keeps the faith with big peepers. A curling, lengthening mascara like Lancome's Doll Eyes Mascara will add the necessary lift to the look.

Khloe's large pillowy lips are something of a trademark although recently her brights have given way to softer, calmer shades. Start with a nude pencil and layer Estee Lauder's Pure Color Lipstick in Peach Fizz to keep the colour feminine. Finishing lips with Rimmel's Vinyl Lip in Clear will keep the lips soft and avoid moving too far away from the polish of the base. Long, lustrous and with plenty of bounce, Khloe is rarely spotted on the red carpet without that signature middle parting. Preferring to wear her hair down, the look is low maintenance and that hair is always so full of shine. If you have the locks, flaunt them ... we love Khloe's look!
