Mad Men inspires make-up line

Hit TV series Mad Men has inspired a limited-edition make-up line.

Beauty giant Estée Lauder are launching a two-piece capsule collection that will help viewers to recreate the vintage vixen look as seen on Christina Hendricks and January Jones in the 1960’s set AMC drama.

The range includes a cherry red lipstick and a rose-coloured cream blusher, packaged in gorgeous golden vintage containers, US Magazine reports.

The Estée Lauder Mad Collection will be available at US department store Bloomingdales from next month, and is priced at $25 for the lipstick and $40 for the blusher.

The make-up line follows the TV show’s collaboration with Banana Republic. The 40-piece capsule collection designed by the set's costume designer Janie Bryant is available from March too.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry’s highly anticipated range of false eye-lashes have hit the market. The singer has teamed up with beauty company Eylure to bring her distinctive look to fans and beauty divas alike. Titled Katy Perry Lashes, the range features three sets of lashes for different occasions.

Katy promoted the range in Glendale, California yesterday and made sure she made a statement in an all-blue ensemble.

Katy matched her blue hair with a form-fitting vintage look frock featuring panels of different shades of the colour. She teamed the outfit with blue suede bow sandals and tied a pretty black ribbon around her waist.
