Irish supermodel Stella Maxwell lands lucrative contract with Max Factor
Stella Maxwell has landed her biggest gig of 2016.
The Irish supermodel, whose parents hail from Belfast, has just been unveiled as the new face of Max Factor, joining fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel in the elite club.
This last Fashion Month alone she walked for Moschino, Versace and Marc Jacobs and was given the Vogue seal of approval.
Bosses a the beauty giant said, "Stella’s transformative looks and aspirational lifestyle perfectly complement Max Factor’s brand ethos of contemporary beauty.
She will feature in the brand's upcoming 2017 campaign.
"I remember stealing Max Factor products from my sister when I first discovered make-up and now, more than ever, I rely on the products for whatever my hectic schedule demands. I can’t wait to reveal the new Max Factor launches for 2017," Stella said in a statement of the move.
Earlier this year, Stella was named Maxim's Sexiest Woman Alive and is one of the pioneering models of the social media generation with a dedicated following across platforms.
Growing up between Belgium and New Zealand, she said she never dreamed of becoming a supermodel.
“I believe that thinking positively and envisioning the best possible outcome can add to your achievements. It doesn't always work out, but if I visualise myself getting what I want, it can happen. Positivity helps with everything in life," she told Maxim.
“You hope for these things and you are grateful to be given the opportunity, and then you just have to throw yourself into the work.”
She was previously linked to Kristen Stewart in May, but said she prefers to keep her romantic life under wraps.
"Dating is pretty hard, since I'm always on the road. I keep my personal life personal."
