Tyra Banks has been inspired by Missy Elliott's Super Bowl weave.

Missy was Katy Perry's surprise guest at last night's halftime show, which also saw rocker Lenny Kravitz team up with the popstar.

Wearing a black tracksuit, cap and oversized hoop earrings, Missy showed off her slender frame. The bottom of her dark hair was highlighted with yellow and orange hues, prompting Tyra to declare she was going to copy the look on a wannabe model on her hit show American's Next Top Model.

"That weave on @MissyElliott is making me feel like I need to give them multi-colors to a model on #ANTM22! (sic)," Tyra tweeted to her followers.

It wasn't just the Get Ur Freak On singer's hair Tyra was lusting over - she also couldn't get enough of Katy's locks.

Katy had four outfit changed during the set but her hair stayed up throughout; piled on top of her head in a glossy ponytail.

"I'm living for @katyperry's slick back hair. But damn, it's slicked tight. You know that hurts. #HalftimeShow #BeautyIsPain (sic)," Tyra commented.

Tyra was also in awe of the stage costumes. Katy opened the show in a flame covered two-piece, before quickly changing into a beach themed skirt and top. Next was an oversized black hoodie, before she dazzled in a star covered silver floor length gown.

Each costume was created by Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott, and 41-year-old Tyra was impressed with the musician's speedy changes.

"How in the heck did @katyperry change clothes so fast. Even when I was doing fashion shows, "quick changes" were longer than that! (sic)" she marvelled.

It was announced this weekend that Tyra will pay tribute to late Australia's Next Top Model host Charlotte Dawson when the new series hits TV screens later this year.
