Beauty buy of the week: Is this the hairdryer of your dreams?
Most hairdryers are built to last – at least, the good ones are.
And after nearly 10 years of using the same one, I decided to test drive a new type (an expensive one) and hope it would keep me and my extensions in good shape. It turns out, hairdyers have come a long way since my day - that day being 2010.
The ‘Perfect Blow Dry AC Dry’ by Mark Hill promises a ‘professional blowdry at home’ and sticks to its word. At €89.99, it’s not a cheap investment, but as I get older I realise it’s more important to spend money on the good stuff now, rather than trying to repair it later.
It’s the hero product from this high end range with “an ionic jet and a Moroccan Argan oil infused grill”. I had to look up what both of those qualities meant and I’m assured it’s very good.
The naturally infused oils mean you already have a heads up when it comes to conditioning your hair and the two speed settings ensures minimum damage to your precious mane.
The good: All of the above.
The bad: Its temperature gauge buttons are quite sensitive, meaning you have to keep changing it back to the higher wattage if you move your hand.
