In a stark contrast to her overexposed marriage to Ashley Cole from 2006 - 2010, which was regular tabloid fodder even after their split - she is keeping her French businessman beau under wraps.

The X Factor judge was dressed to impress in a nude coloured gown at the launch of her debut perfume, Storm Flower, in London last night.

And while her husband of two weeks, Jean Fernandez-Versini was there to support his other half, they avoided being photographed together and even arrived in separate vehicles.

She's clearly happier than ever as she wrote a sweet Twitter post last night following the hugely successful launch, where she was also grilled by JLS' Marvin Humes about the scent.

"It's so amazing how a simple smile or one kind word from a stranger can affect your whole mood or mindset #beautifulpeople," she said.

"It's like every little girl's dream. When I was a kid, I used to create perfumes with my sister so I've been obsessed even from a young age," she told the Mail Online.

Earlier in the week, the newlyweds, who exchanged vows in a top secret ceremony on the island of Mustique, marked their wedding formally with an intimate party in London.

In an interview with The Times Magazine, which she gave just before the wedding, she was asked if she wanted to have children.

"Possibly — only possibly," she replied.

"Because I went through a real phase, just recently, of like, maybe it's not for me. Because you just assume it's a natural part of your life.

"If it happens, don't get us wrong, it happens. But who knows? We'll see. It's not in my plans," she said.
