The latest beauty trick is using balloons in your hair for heat-free voluminous curls.

Beauty blogger Tina Lee shows how to use the balloons in a YouTube video, and the results are pretty impressive.

Lee says the hack works on short, long and medium length hair, even if you have layers.

She begins by spraying her hair with water to dampen it and ties it into a loose, high ponytail, leaving two pieces out at the front.

She then blows several balloons to the size of a small peach, and makes sure they’re soft and malleable, so they don’t pop while they’re on your head.

Take a small section of hair, spray some water on it so it’s slightly damp and wrap it around the balloon, starting from the root. Gently pin the end of your hair to the top of the balloon and then pin the bottom part to your head with a hair clip.

Repeat the steps until all of your hair is pinned to the balloons.

Lee slept with the balloons in her hair, but if you’re afraid of them popping just leave them on for 6-8 hours during the day. This might be best for a day that you want to stay at home…

When Lee takes the balloons out a few hours later, her hair is full of loose, bouncy curls.
