Gwyneth Paltrow to launch blow-dry bar

Multitasking actress Gwyneth Paltrow is working on her own blow-dry bar in Los Angeles, and her super slick glossy locks are on the mane menu.
If you're as busy as Gwyneth Paltrow is, you probably don't have much time to squeeze in a lengthy, luxury blow-dry at a more conventional salon. In between writing a recipe book, acting, being a devoted mother and wife, practicing yoga and being a beauty ambassador, it's those swift little 'jujes' at one of the new speedy blowout bars that serves as the perfect antidote to a bad hair day.
And it seems like Gwyneth likes the faster generation of blow-dries so much, she's decided to offer her own at her soon-to-open blow dry bar in Los Angeles. Her partners for her latest venture include her personal trainer and apparent new sidekick, Tracy Anderson, and hair stylist David Babaii.
We too thought it a maverick move, but in an interview with Elleuk.com , Paltrow admitted she has never been able to blow dry her own hair, so has always relied on the professionals (and there we were thinking she was so effortless). Plus, sticking to her clean living philosophy, Gwyneth revealed that the line-up of products created by Babaii which go on sale come free from all the nasties - we're talking parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals and animal tested ingredients.
Stylist Babaii told People magazine: "it's all about healthy ingredients, healthy products. And not getting something that you can do at home. It's going to be a feel good bar."
Pint-size personal trainer Tracy Anderson also added that "as our members transform themselves into the women and men they want to be in the studio, the David Babaii team will design a hairstyle customised for their face shape and lifestyle, as well as a product regime of what to use to keep them looking their best while they're on the go."
Suddenly the thinking process behind the beauty move makes sense. Though we're still unclear about how Gwyneth finds the time.
The blow-dry bar is set to open on April 4 in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
