With a naturally golden complexion, the brightest of blue eyes and sky high cheekbones, X Factor judge Dannii Minogue knows that what works best for her is simply about what highlights her best features.

Letting her supple skin take centre stage, Dannii has never been guilty of a cover up and prefers the natural look when it comes to her skin. A light base is key for letting skin breathe and this can be achieved by mixing a small amount of foundation with a hydrating moisturiser like Dermalogica's Pure Light. A few soft sweeps with a foundation brush followed by a little blending should do the trick and any of those little imperfections can be ironed out with a dab of concealer.

Dannii's trademark healthy glow is also helped along with a flush of blush and her gorgeous skin tone and high-sculpted cheekbones help keep matters simple. For the rest of us, applying a light dusting of blusher like MAC's Pink Swoon Powder Blush on the apples with a large brush should work wonders.

Dannii's best feature has always been her eyes and in the event you need to steal some of her sparkle begin with something perfectly grey.

Try washing a silver shadow across the lid and add extra highlights with a highlighting powder like Make Up Forever's HD High Definition Powder across the brow bone.

Once the shadow is set, work with a dark kohl or bold pencil like NYC's Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in black. For added X Factor, a slick of lengthening mascara like Estee Lauders Double Wear Zero-Smudge should curl well into the top and bottom lashes.

Like her skin, Dannii likes to keep lips natural so a light pink gloss like Rimmel's Vinyl Gloss in Keep a Secret should supply the finishing touches. If you prefer to be more daring with your lips, a glossy red like Chanel's Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss Exces, and if it's all too much and you need to flip the look down completely, a clear gloss like Bourjois's Gloss Menthol will soften the lips and let the eyes take centre stage. We love this look!
