Keeping make-up in place and shine at bay under the glare of the bright lights can be a challenge, but one of America's best known reality TV stars, Audrina Patridge, has it down to a fine art.

Recently spotted looking radiant at The Hills farewell party In London, Audrina's look is all about clear skin and bold bright eyes.

For a shine-free base, a primer is always a good place to start.

Gosh's Velvet Touch Primer followed by a medium coverage foundation like Clinique's Superfit Foundation should keep make-up in place and will even out skintone.

Audrina's skin is perfectly sun-kissed so swapping blush for a bronze like He-Shi's Fusion Multi Bronze is recommended. Simple sweeps work best for this and if you happen to have been out in the sun but aren't quite gold all over then start lightly and build across the cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.

Audrina's eyes are the centerpiece of a look which is somewhere between debutant and surf chick and teaming soft shadows with lashings of liner should give the look some added drama. Natural colours like MAC's Nylon will work perfectly as a base eyeshadow and should be applied from the lashline all the way up to the brow bone.

Working a light grey shadow like Urban Decay's Moon Spoon onto the upper lids and stopping just below the brow will give some depth to the eyes and if you need something extra the lashline can be defined with a deeper grey like Make Up Store's Chrome.

One of the great things about Audrina's look is that it seems calm and classic, yet it does have a certain flexibility. If you prefer a lighter look, you can add a splash of colour by swapping the greys for pastel shades like MAC's Cornflower Eyeshadow Pigment.

Finish the look with a slick of liquid eyeliner and a few coats of La Roche Posay’s Densifying Mascara or, if you need a touch more definition, a smudge of grey shadow along the bottom lash line.

As with all good looks, Audrina hasn't gone too far and lips have been kept distinctly neutral. Finish with a slick of soft pink gloss like Estee Lauder's Pure Color Gloss Stick in Twilight Petal to add a soft, feminine finish.
