Here's what we'll been turning our noses to this summer:

Jo Malone Lime and Basil

Fresh, musky and with just a hint of citron, the original Jo Malone scent Lime Basil and Manderine has become something of a cult fragrance for both men and women during the warmer months. Combining fresh notes of lime, mandarin and bergamot with more unusual notes of peppery basil and aromatic white thyme, the end result is a scent perfect for those balmy summer evenings. Created as a cologne, it can be layered with bath and body products for a more rounded aroma.

Available from Brown Thomas priced at €42.

Chanel No 19 Poudre

Re-crafted by Chanel's Nez Jacques Polge, Chanel No 19 Poudre brings a fresh twist to an underground scent. Originally created in the 1970's, Poudre is a warmer, softer version of this Chanel classic but with a touch more iris than the original fragrance. New notes of neroli and Jasmine make it perfect for warm evening skin, and the traditional musky notes ensure the scent lingers a little longer once it's been spritzed. Decanted in the traditional square vial, it's perfect for the dressing table.

Available from selected department stores, priced at €72

Lancome Ô de l’Orangerie

Fresh, tangy and more than a little juicy, the latest launch from Lancome Ô de l’Orangerie is perfect for those who like scent on the sharper side. Inspired by the 1960's fragrance Ô de Lancôme and decanted in an engraved glass bottle to echo last summers signature scent, this latest edition pairs notes of orange blossom and orange zest with jasmine and cedar for a fragrance reminiscent of French orange groves - bliss!

Available from department stores nationwide priced at €35

Estee Lauder Sesuous Nude

Ladies on the look out for a lighter fragrance for summer will love Estee Lauder's latest fragrance Sensuous Nude. The new Estee scent has ditched the traditional fragrance structure in favour of a warm core and surrounding notes of honey, jasmine and mandarin. The end result is a soft, sensual and feminine scent that lingers on skin. Holiday makers tight on space should also note that this fragrance is available in both 30ml and 50ml sizes meaning airport security shouldn't be a problem.

Available from selected department stores priced at €46
