Four of the Best: Bath Oils
Rub a dub dub, Independent Woman loves the tub! This week we scrubbed, soaked and splashed our way through the best bath oils we could lay our hands on.
Here are our favourites:
REN's Moroccan Rose Otto Oil
Sensitive skin in need of a soak may find a suitably soothing soul mate in REN's Moroccan Rose Otto Oil. Designed to cleanse, nourish and soften skin, this lightly fragrant oil left us squeaky clean, subtly scented and stress free.
Perfect for soothing away the strains of the day, the only downside we could find was in resisting the temptation to nod-off.
Available from Arnotts, priced at €36.
Jo Malone's Pomigrant Noir
Any fragrance fans scouring for sensuously scented sensations will no doubt perk up at the very mention of Jo Malone's Pomigrant Noir. Laced with Casablanca lily, guaiacwood and pomegranate, the oil works perfectly as an agent for moisturising, but makes getting out of the tub virtually impossible. The elegant glass bottle complete with Jo's signature black ribbon will also add the luxe look to your bathroom.
Available from Jo Malone, priced at €75
Decleor's Aromessence De Bain
Sleepy skin in need of revival will be more than happy with a soak with Decleor's Aromessence De Bain. Made from essential oils of lemon, lavender and angelica this highly concentrated formula leaves skin soft, silky and brilliantly energised. Despite our initial misgivings at the price, we were won over by the simple logic that since a cap or so is all you need the bottle will provide for 30 baths, so it works out well for such a luxury!
Available from selected salons, priced at €68.
Liz Earl's Harmony Vital Oils
Stressed out souls in need of solace for the skin will find the disasters of the day melt away with a few drops of Liz Earl's Harmony Vital Oils. Packed with neroli to balance, rosemary to uplift and clementine to revive those moods, the essential oils in Harmony Vital will have skin cleansed, restored and softened by the time the immersion finally runs cold and family members begin to bang on the door in sheer frustration.
Available from lizearle.com, priced at €10
